Justin Sun Will Go to Space on Blue Origin Mission Taking 5 People With Him – Bitcoin News

Justin Sun, founder of Tron (a smart contract-enabled cryptocurrency exchange platform), announced yesterday that he will fly next year to space to fulfil one of his childhood goals. Blue Origin, Jeff Bezos’ company, will take him to space in his spaceship Blue Origin. It was also the first flight of Amazon. Sun announced that Sun will be taking five unknown people along.

Justin Sun, founder of Tron announcedYesterday, he announced that he would fly next year into space to fulfil one of his childhood goals. The trip, that would take the crypto entrepreneur out of the earth’s atmosphere, would be done using Blue Origin’s services, the space company owned by Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon. Sun disclosed that he won an auction to join the inaugural flight of Blue Origin with Bezos. Sun paid $28 million for the privilege of being part of this launch. Sun said:

The auction was won 6 months before launch. I still love space.

Sun, an entrepreneur who recently resigned from his role at Tron Foundation (the organization that created Tron), was recently also appointed representative for Grenada in the World Trade Organization. Sun also declaredDuring his space flight, he will be carrying the flag of that country.


Five People are the stars

Sun doesn’t plan on going alone to the stars. He saidFive people from diverse backgrounds would join him. The campaign, which was named “Sea of Stars,” will nominate five different people to complete the party of six for the trip. The first of the nominees for the trip, according to Sun’s statements, will be a crypto entrepreneur related to the metaverse. A Tron DAO nominee will become the second. The candidate can come from any part of the community.

A third nominee from the tech sector will be selected. The fourth nominee will have an art background, and the fifth and final nominees will be a “highly visible and socially influential celebrity,” that will be a mystery guest. Sun indicated that these nominees would be unveiled in the months ahead, since no one has been chosen for this position yet.

While Sun did not detail any specific dates for the launch, the official website for the “Sea of Stars” event states the ship will launch in the fourth quarter of 2022.
