WAVES was undoubtedly Tuesday’s biggest gainer, climbing by as much as 50% during the session. Gains in WAVES came as well, as LUNA once again overtook SOL as the world’s eighth-largest cryptocurrency. The big mover was also RUNE.
WAVES
WAVES was easily the biggest gainer during Tuesday’s trading session, as it rose to a new all-time high.
This was the second consecutive session in which WAVES rallied, further cementing itself as the world’s 32nd largest crypto.
Today’s peak saw WAVES/USD surge to an all-time high of $53.81, following a low around $31.9 in Monday’s session.
These recent highs can be seen in the chart because prices have moved past recent resistance at $33.71, that was there for about ten business days.
The 14-day RSI broke another ceiling. Price strength climbed past resistance at 80.75 and is now tracking at 89.38.
Although it is obvious that the prices are overbought at present, there have been higher levels of price movements in the past.
It will create uncertainty among those who are looking for positions in the future.
Thorchain (RUNE).
After two days of declining prices, RUNE rose Tuesday. Prices gained as high as 20% in the course of the session.
After a week-opening low of $10.00, the RUNE/USD price soared to $12.82 today. This broke the $11.09 resistance.
Tuesday’s move has now pushed RUNE to its highest level since November 26, as bulls continue to target the all-time high.
The $17.86 Point, established in November early, would correspond to the price at which bulls seek to recoup their losses.
As this writing is being done, RUNE rose by 20.58%. However, the 14-day RSI was hovering just above its ceiling of 80. It is still within the overbought area.
Although momentum is likely to continue rising, there are signs that an eventual reversal may be in the offing.
