Last December, the renowned professional skateboarder Tony Hawk released his “Last Trick” non-fungible token (NFT) collection via the NFT marketplace Autograph. Hawk will auction the original skateboards that he used for his last trick. Each NFT will include a signed Hawk skateboard.
Tony Hawk will drop another NFT collection via autograph
Tony Hawk has plans to launch another NFT collection tied to the skateboards he used in his “Last Trick” NFT collection launched in December. The “Last Trick” digital collectibles compilation was sold on the Autograph NFT marketplace, a platform launched by the seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.
Hawk announcedThe latest NFT sales of trick skateboards were made on Saturday. It was explained that Garry DeBoer, a random selection for his Frontside Cab Board, won it.
Autograph tweeted about the event as well on Saturday and said: “Congrats to Autograph collector Garry DeBoer. Now you can keep a piece Tony Hawk history in your heart forever. The remaining boards Tony used to retire five signature moves will be auctioned starting Tuesday of next week.”
Five skateboards have been revealed in the Tony Hawk NFT Collection, which is Autograph-based. The first (Frontside Cab Board) will be delivered to DeBoer Monday.
Auctioneers will auction the Finger Flip and signed Gymnast Plant skateboards on Tuesday at 12:01 (ET). The signed Varial 540 skateboard, Magic Dance skateboard and Varial 540 skateboard are also up for sale.
The management of the auction, Autograph’s terms explain, will be administered by the Draftkings Marketplace. Autograph is also required to ship the actual skateboards by USPS, Fedex or UPS after the Tony Hawk NFT skateboard auctions are over.
Hawk’s NFTs are popular on the Autograph platform among other popular athletes such as Wayne Gretsky, Derek Jeter, Tom Brady, and Simone Biles. The top Tony Hawk NFT collector on Autograph is a user named “@laukialovforeve” with a score of 188,640.
