THETA, GALA, and SAND were some of Saturday’s biggest cryptocurrency casualties, as an onslaught of bearish pressure pushed prices lower. These losses occurred while market bulls had been few and far between at the beginning of the weekend.
The biggest gainers
DOGE, LUNA, and XRP were marginally higher at the time of writing. However, XRP had the largest gains among the top 100 crypto-currencies this Saturday.
Although most cryptocurrencies are still in red, the XRP price is now up almost 6% at this writing. This follows two days of bullish sentiment.
The intraday high for XRP/USD was $0.8237, after a $0.7603 low during the previous session.
This move occurred as the prices continued to climb above support of $0.7550 and are now heading towards resistance at $0.8505.
XRP could have many potential gains. However, the 58-level on the 14 day RSI is a source of uncertainty.
However, if prices reach resistance, historical evidence has proven that significant bearish activity occurs at this level.
Biggest Losers
GALA and the Sandbox were the two biggest cryptos that fell on Saturday. The red wave truly was present at the start of the weekend.
However, THETA’s price fell again for the third session. It is currently below $3.25, its support level.
THETA/USD fell to an intraday low of $3.09 during today’s session, and is down close to 5% as of writing.
Prices dropped by nearly 10% today. However, prices fell by almost 10% after breaking from the floor. This was likely because traders liquidated some positions.
Today’s decline saw THETA fall to its lowest level since February 6, with the 14-day RSI dropping to its lowest point since February 4.
