These Are the Crypto Economy’s 5 Most Expensive Assets per Unit in August 2022 – Markets and Prices Bitcoin News

Bitcoin.com News conducted a search on the five most valuable crypto assets. At that time, there were three tokens valued at four digits, one at three digits, and two digital currencies with five digits of value. Today, a lot has changed but currently, bitcoin and the token yearn finance are still the only two tokens with five-digit USD price values, and there’s a total of five crypto assets below them trading for four-digit prices.

A little over one year ago, crypto’s total value was $1.33 trillion. Bitcoin (BTC), was traded for $31,615/unit. Yearn finance (YFI), a second crypto asset, was also trading at $28,611 per unit.

These tokens still rank as the most valuable crypto assets per dollar today. Both bitcoin and yearn financing are currently trading for lower values today than they were 386 day ago.

Bitcoin.com News stated that BTC, YFI and MKR were the most valuable crypto assets, excluding tokenized gold cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin trades at $23,846, but it still has five digits of USD value, while yearn finance (YFI), is trading at $11,455 per currency.

Following YFI, there is perth gold (PAXG), pax mint gold (PMGT), ethereum [ETH], tether and maker golds (XAUT), as well as perth gold (PMGT). Both PAXG (and PMGT) are determined at the same value as one ounce fine gold.

XAUT can also be pegged at one ounce of Gold, however, at the time this article was written, the current spot gold price is at a significant discount. BTC and YFI are the most costly crypto assets.

YFI changed hands at just $30K per unit when the crypto-economy was worth $3.13 Trillion in November 2021. Wonderland (TIME) was $8,725 per coin on November 10, 2021, and today it’s worth $11.21.

Last year, ethereum cost $4,861 for an ETH, and is currently $1,773. Maker (MKR) was $3,199 and today it’s down to $1,136 per coin. Olympus (OHM) exchanged hands for $946 and now a single coin is $13.61, and while bitcoin cash (BCH) was $722 per unit, today it’s $143.

This year’s top five most expensive crypto assets’ newcomer, binance coin (BNB), was swapping for $663 but now it is down to $324. Although it’s interesting to compare crypto assets with the USD five, four and three-digit USD valuation perspective, or even the most expensive, it’s important to remember that many people who are not familiar with crypto assets view them almost as stocks.

Except for NFT assets that are undividable, most cryptocurrencies can be divided. The majority of cryptocurrency can be divided up to 8 decimal places. This means that even the most costly crypto assets, such as NFT (undividable non-fungible token), all of these assets can be bought in fractions. Instead of spending a lot of money on a coin (e.g. bitcoin, $20 of ether (ETH) and $30 of yearn finance(YFI), it is possible to purchase $15 worth of bitcoin (BTC), $20 worth of ethereum [ETH], or $33 worth worth of yearn financing (YFI).
