Robinhood Crypto Wallets Rolled Out to Over 2 Million Customers – Wallets Bitcoin News

Robinhood, a trading platform has launched its crypto wallets. It is now available to over two million customers. In addition, Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev announced that the platform will integrate with the Lightning Network “to bring even lower costs to our customers.”

Robinhood Crypto Wallets Can Be Used by More Than 2,000,000 Users

Robinhood, a popular trading platform made an announcement about the new crypto wallets it has at Thursday’s Bitcoin Conference in Miami. Robinhood Chief Product Officer Aparna Chennapragada shared:

We’ve rolled out crypto wallets to every eligible person on the Wenwallets waitlist of more than two million people.

“Now, all eligible customers who signed up for the waitlist will be able to send and receive any of the cryptocurrencies currently available on Robinhood,” the executive added. Since January, select customers have been able to access the crypto wallets.

However, “Due to local regulations, crypto wallets aren’t yet available in Hawaii, Nevada, or New York, and we’ll inform those customers when this changes,” Chennapragada said.

Vlad Tenev (CEO and co-founder at Robinhood) also made the announcement:

Robinhood will be the trusted, most user-friendly crypto platform. We’re excited to bring even lower costs to our customers by integrating with the Lightning network.

Trading platform that supports bitcoin, bitcoin cash, bitcoin sv, bitcoin sv, bitcoin sv, bitcoin m (BSV), dogecoin, dogecoin, ethereum, ethereum classic, ETC, and litecoin is currently available. Robinhood has repeatedly denied that they are in any hurry to include SHIB.

Robinhood’s announcement further notes:

Robinhood does not charge a fee for crypto withdrawals, unlike some crypto platforms.
