PureStake CEO Derek Yoo Explains the Technology Behind Moonbeam Network – Interview Bitcoin News

Moonbeam, an Ethereum-compatible smart contracts platform that runs on the Polkadot Network makes it simple to create natively compatible applications. Developers can deploy Solidity smart contracts or DApp frontends directly to Moonbeam using this Ethereum compatibility.

PureStake’s CEO is Derek Yoo, who also runs the Moonbeam Network technology company. Recently, he joined Bitcoin.com News Podcast as a guest to discuss technology.

Derek Yoo, a Web2 technology entrepreneur and serial entrepreneur has been building software companies and cloud businesses for the last 20 years. Prior to creating Moonbeam, Derek was the co-founder and CTO of Fuze, where he led the product and engineering teams in the creation of a global Unified Communications-as-a-Service cloud platform with points of presence all around the world, a low latency global network, and a suite of end user web, desktop, and mobile communications applications. Fuze grew from 700 to over 600 employees, with a revenue of $150M.

Moonbeam, like Moonriver on Kusama’s sister parachain, is set to collect developer and user activity for the more than 80 projects that are building DApps or protocols.
