The non-fungible token (NFT), sales are stable this week as the crypto economy has suffered more losses the last seven days. In comparison to the previous week’s $152.9 million NFT sales across 18 blockchains, and $154.3 millions in NFT transactions during this week. Ethereum had the highest NFT volume, but Ethereum’s sales were the lowest.
NFT’s Avert This Week’s Crypto Downturn as NFT Sales Saw a Modest Increase
The total NFT sales across 18 blockchains was approximately $154,366,090 at the time of writing. This metric is about 0.96% more than it was the previous week. Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), the NFT collection, had the largest sales with $13,292,929 of NFT products. That’s an increase of 1.01% in the past seven days.
In the last 24 hours, BAYC’s floor value dropped to 85.99 ETH ($90K), which is 1.2% more than yesterday. BAYC had 99 buyers purchase Bored Ape NFTs this week, with 158 transactions.
Sorare was second with $11,293,496 being the highest-selling collection. Sales of Sorare rose 201% over the previous week, with 142.903 transactions and 13492 buyers. Otherdeed is next with a rise of approximately 63.65% weekly sales and $10,112,650 sales volume.
While Ethereum’s overall sales ($107,656,971) were 9.23% lower than last week, a number of other blockchains saw a surge in weekly sales. Fantom had the highest increase as NFTs sales rose 10,616% over the previous week.
PaniniBNB recorded an increase of 228.58%, BNB experienced a jump of 148.97%, while Flow NFT sales increased by 112.53%. NFT sales increased in 13 of the 18 blockchains over the past seven days, while OEC chains such as Ethereum, Palm and Arbitrum saw decreases.
Otherdeed 6 sold for 249.46 ether, or 309K. Bored Ape 211, which sold at $232K, sold for 194.97ether. Bored Ape 2896, sold for 166ether. One Otherdeed sale was the top-selling NFT item, followed by four Bored Apes.
Opensea, the largest NFT marketplace with $113million in sales this week, saw sales fall 17.24%. Opensea was followed by X2Y2 at $15.33million in NFT sales, and Magic Eden with $15.04million in sales.
Looksrare was previously the second-largest NFT Market by volume of NFT sales months ago. This week, Looksrare is the fourth largest NFT Marketplace in terms sales at $7.12 Million, an increase of 3.66% over the week before.
NFT collections such as Impostors Genesis Aliens and Lost Poets have seen the largest price rises in the last 24 hours.
NFT’s 30-day sales dropped 74.44%, but the monthly sales for NFT prior to July 2 fell 65.15%. That means that there has been a slight increase in sales.
