While the digital currency market has seen a drop in its value over the past two months, non-fungible token sales weekly have fallen. NFT sales increased more than 10% over the week before, seven-day statistics reveal. One particular NFT sale, Cryptopunk #4,464, helped push this week’s sales volume up as the NFT sold for 2,500 ether or $2.6 million at the time of settlement.
Cryptopunk sales grew by 545%; Ronin-based NFT sales climbed 146% higher, Gaming NFTs rise above art and digital collectibles
- Weekly NFT sales volume has been much lower during the last two months, as NFT values have mirrored the crypto economy’s bear market losses. NFT sales have increased this week however 10.82% higher than the week prior, as $147 million was recorded this week in contrast to last week’s $133 million.
- As sales data showed a staggering 545.36% rise in sales over the last seven days, Cryptopunks was the top NFT collection. The Cryptopunks’ sales jump is due to one particular sale that occurred on July 12, which saw Cryptopunk #4,464You can sell it for as low as 2,500 Ethereum or $2.6million.
- The second-largest collection, in terms of weekly NFT sales, was the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) collection, which recorded an increase of 53.25% higher than last week’s sales. Below BAYC’s weekly sales data was Mutant Ape Yacht Club’s (MAYC) sales, after MAYC sales jumped 73% higher than the week before.
- Ethereum saw the highest NFT sales among 18 blockchains. $124 Million of $147,000,000 in total sales this week came from Ethereum’s ETH chain. Ethereum’s NFT sales this week increased by 16.99%. Ronin was the blockchain that saw the greatest weekly NFT sale increase, seeing a rise of about 146%.
- Fantom’s NFT sales this week followed Ronin’s increase with a 104% rise during the past seven days. BNB, Immutablex and Waves NFT sales experienced double-digit drops between 43% to 64% compared with the week before.
- Besides Cryptopunk #4,464’s sale, two more Cryptopunk NFTs made it into the top five most expensive sales this week. Within the seven-day period, two NFTs of BAYC were included in the Top Five.
- Bored Ape #6,388 was sold four days ago for 826.29 wrap ethereum, or just under $1 million, and Bored Ape #2.306 was sold two days ago for 300 WETH, or $364K, for 300 WETH. Cryptopunk #3.614 was purchased for 275 Ethereum or $336K, four days ago. Cryptopunk #2.306 sold for 300 WETH or $364K, twelve hours later. Cryptopunk #1.901 went for 260ether or $271K, around the same time.
- InformationThe graph shows that NFT sales from August 22, 2021 up to the present have fallen lower every week, with a slight uptick in April 2022. Gaming NFTs are higher than art and digital collectibles, but they have fallen. IntensifyingThese are the most recent weeks.
- According to historical sales data, the Cryptopunks Collection is now close to $3Billion in total sales. The current market value of $2.86 Billion. Axie Incfinity NFT sales have surpassed $4.23Billion all-time, while the NFT marketplace Opensea recorded NFT sales of $31.27B to date.
- The recent Cryptopunk #4,464 sale increased the collection’s floor value as it is the third highest with the least expensive NFT selling for 76.8 ETH today. BAYC has the highest floor value, with 95-ETH Bored Apes. Proof Collective is second at 82ETH.
