Moonbirds NFT Sales Skyrocket Capturing $364 Million in 5 Days – Bitcoin News

A non-fungible token (NFT) collection called Moonbirds has been a topical conversation within the NFT community as the compilation’s sales have been enormous. Moonbirds NFT collection began to sell five days ago on April 16th. Statistics have shown that it has been sold for $364.83million.

Moonbirds NFT collection takes the top spot this week

Moonbirds NFT Collection has overtaken the Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club and Cryptopunks sales. The 10,000 Moonbirds NFTs were only traded five days ago by traders. Since then, it has sold $364.83million.

Moonbirds currently leads the NFT sales this week, surpassing dozens of other unique collections. Moonbirds sales account for approximately 37.85% the total NFT Sales of $963.8million in the week.

Proof Collective, an NFT collector group with well-known members, has made Moonbirds very popular. Gary Vaynerchuk is an investor and Beeple, a well-known NFT artist, are two of the members.

Proof Collective’s website notes that it is a “private members-only collective of 1,000 dedicated NFT collectors and artists.” In order to join Proof Collective, the membership fee has a floor price of around 108 ethereum (ETH). The NFT collection saw a substantial increase in sales after the Moonbirds public mint closed. It held the highest Opensea sales volume this week. Moonbirds was the most popular transaction, with 11,170 buyers over the past five days. Moonbirds are not cheap as three of them made it into this week’s top five most expensive NFT sales.

According to cryptoslam.io, Moonbird #2819 was sold at 182.44 Ethereum or $562K 18 hours ago. Moonbird #1210 was sold at the exact same price, while Moonbird #8249 was sold for 175 Ethereum or $547K six hours prior to this article being written. Moonbirds have approximately 6,512 owners according to Metrics at the time this article was written. The pixelated bird collection’s floor value is also up 61.1% during the last 24 hours jumping to 33 ether.

Moonbirds NFTs has traded 4,81 million USD or 15,711.94 Eth over the 24-hour period. Moonbirds are a collective market capitalization of approximately 330,000 Ethereum or just above $1 billion USD.
