Lunar Labs Co-Founder Luke Youngblood Talks Moonwell Artemis and Over-Collateralized Loans – Interview Bitcoin News

Moonwell on Moonbeam or Moonriver is an open-lending and borrowing DeFi protocol. Moonwell’s composable design can accommodate a full range of DeFi applications in the greater Polkadot and Kusama (DotSama) ecosystem.

Lunar Labs is co-founded by Luke Youngblood. They are currently developing the Moonwell DeFi Protocol. Luke is an experienced technie with decades of work experience. He was a Coinbase Principal Engineer and AWS Chief Engineer and also created Coinbase Staking Reward. Recently, he joined the Bitcoin.com News Podcast in order to discuss technology.

Moonwell has recently received a strategic financing round to fund the development and production of Moonwell Artemis. Hypersphere Ventures was the co-leader of this round, as well as Arrington Capital. It raised $10M at a valuation $90M. A number of the most prominent crypto- and Polkadot funds also participated in this round. Haun Ventures and Coinbase Ventures were represented.

Moonwell Artemis will become active by Moonwell, the community that is located on Moonbeam. This portal opens up the Polkadot eco-system. Moonwell users will have the ability to provide liquidity and to receive tokens in return for their services.
