Hackathon participants will receive $1.2 million in prize money for their winning projects.

1. DeFi – From where it originally started, DeFi continues to be a crucial movement for the crypto space as it enables financial services to operate in an open, accessible, and more transparent digital form. DeFi tracks focuses on innovative DeFi solutions which provide financial services that can be accessed by billions.
2. GameFi – The future of gaming is on the blockchain. Entertainment and web 3.0. This track is focused on developing and launching the next great game idea.
3. NFT – APENFT SupportsNFT tracks embrace creator economies, providing technical and financial support as well as financial rewards to NFT creators in order that their work can be fully realized. It also empowers developers creating innovative NFT applications.
4. Web3 – This track focuses on discovering projects who are helping bring the future of the Web to billions of users.
5. Ecosystem – The first iteration of this Ecosystem track will be mainly focused on Ethereum-based projects (both PoW and PoS) to incentivise ETHCross-chain development by developers using BitTorrent Chain as well as other bridging solutions. It allows L1 major blockchains to link, and makes it possible to discover the TRON ecosystem.
6. Academy – The TRON Academy track is focused on doing a real-life event for enrolled university students in a ‘Hacker House’ fashion and allowing them to experience the TRON culture and potentially win prizes for developing on TRON.

TRON Grand Hackathon: Reasons to Join

The TRON Grand Hackathon 2022 Season 2 was launched a few months back. It has been a huge success. There were over 1800 participants. The $1 million aggregate bounty was split between the four tracks Web3, GameFi and NFT. This high participation shows that talented developers are creating new projects which will benefit millions of TRON users.

As in season 2, judges will vote winners, and communities will vote winners. This is the list of JudgesThe panel includes prominent industry professionals and top opinion leaders from the blockchain community.
