India Leads the World in NFT Gaming, Fewer P2E Players in Western Countries – Metaverse Bitcoin News

According to the most recent data from Finder, India leads the non-fungible token gaming market. However, play-to earn (P2E), players in advanced countries such as the U.S., France, and other parts of the globe are significantly higher than those in many of the rest, Finder’s latest data has revealed.

The Future is a place where more people plan to play

According to Finder’s latest NFT gaming statistics, India is the country with the highest number of respondents (34%) that have played a P2E game. Hong Kong ranks second with 29% and the United Arab Emirates third with 27%.

Study: India Leads the World in NFT Gaming, Fewer P2E Players in Western Countries

P2E seems to be growing in popularity. However, data from Finder shows a distinct level of interest among respondents from Western nations and other parts of the world. As an example, just 9.4% had played at least one P2E game in the United States. This is despite the fact that nearly 14% said they knew what it was. Only 4.3% in Sweden said they have played.

However, Finder’s study that sought to assess the NFT gaming habits in internet users across 26 countries found more Americans plan to play P2E games in the future. Finder noted the magnitude of the increase in US residents who plan to play P2E in the near future.

This figure will increase by 1.8x before 2022. The US population is projected to reach 16.5%.

France has a low percentage of P2E gamers, with only 6 percent. The figure will rise to 15%. Peru is the second largest mover (from 13% to 29%), followed by Spain (8% and 17%).

Nigeria Leads Africa

The survey found that respondents younger than 35 were leading NFT gaming. This category is again led by India with 41.7%, while Germany, Sweden and France had all less than 10%.

In Africa, only respondents from two countries — namely Nigeria and South Africa — took part in the study. One-half of Nigerian respondents reported that they had played P2E games, while 16.9% said they plan to continue doing so. South Africa’s respondents reported that 10.2% of them played NFT games, while 10.6% intend to continue doing so in the future.
