Foresight Ventures partners and founders include former executives from top technology and financial firms. Their goal is to source and support the next wave of disruptive technologies across Web3. The future will be multi-chain, and the best chains with product market match will need partners to expand their networks. They want to be that partner by investing early, supporting their ecosystems with holding and providing growth resources.

Tony earned a BSc (Applied Mathematics) from Nankai University. After that, he went to Oxford to complete post-graduate study leading him to a MSc (Financial Economics). Tony was a consultant in management at Oliver Wyman in HK after graduation. He specialized in Fintech and financial services clients within the APAC region. Tony worked on many Fintech company consulting projects before he moved to venture capital with Sequoia Capital China. He mainly covered global fintech as well as enterprise services. Tony has been involved in several major Fintech deals such as Opay and CPIC. Sumscope was also included.
Tony joined 3G Capital as a leader of their APAC TMT Growth investment efforts, with a special focus on China in 2021. Tony became an advisor to 3G Capital due to China’s difficult regulatory environment. Foresight Ventures was his general partner. He helped to fundraise for Bitkeep Wallet, Bitget Exchange, and other emerging Web3/crypto-related deals. Tony’s interests include scaling solutions for crypto, DeFi-compatible applications and infrastructure. He felt joining an exchange/wallet environment would bring the most benefit to his portfolio companies.
