HistoryDAO’s Mission to Take History From the Victors and Give It to the Masses – Sponsored Bitcoin News

Since prehistoric times humans have tried to keep memories alive by etching images on cave walls or tying knots in crudely made cords. Language was born by tribes and clans, which could keep the past alive in words. Words found their way to print form, thus conceiving of history.

In the information age, the Internet has become the carrier of historical records, which achieved an almost geological level of permanence through the power of immutable “blocks” recorded on blockchains.

Blockchain was a timely development–a solution, in fact, to certain curses of history.

Which are the historical curses?

Historical records centralized:The power to preserve history from ancient times up to today has always been held in the control of central entities. Although unofficial records and folk records are available, they can be obscured or omitted by the media nobility. Yet, despite the “information age,” this situation remains unbroken and arguably worse, as powerful centralized media accumulate more power than ever before. The crypto world, however, has provided a method to record information that is impossible for any central authority.

It is almost impossible to judge and assert what truth is given the volume and complexity of the information available. People whose voices have been reduced lack the ability to speak out about their past. Perhaps the future will see as much as possible that is believed about us, just like it did in centuries past.

HistoryDAO aims to solve the above through Web3 & blockchain technology.

Use blocks to transport history

During his exile, Herodotus wrote the book Ἱστορίαι (History) from his perspective, recording what he heard and saw during his travels throughout the Persian Empire in the 5th century BCE. This book is the oldest Western history historical record. The Roman orator Cicero called him “the father of history.”

Herodotus might have been objective, but all the information he collected was subjective. In this respect, historical records often lack fairness.

Famously, “history is written by the victors,” but the truth is known by those who experience it. Thucydides the Greek historian tried to resolve the problem with rigorous data collection. He consciously avoided reliance on third-hand impressions, noting, “The events described are either what I saw, or what I have carefully examined after hearing from those who have seen them in person.”

Herodotus, Thucydides and others were both great historians. But how could average witnesses not be more involved in history?

Blockchain might be the solution.

HistoryDAO is a decentralized repository for historical records, just as Bitcoin does.

HistoryDAO uses blockchain technology and allows its users to query, trade and issue NFTs on any record that is stored on Ethereum or BNB Chain.

● HistoryDAO supports various data formats in the form of historical records, allowing users to record multi-dimensional information;

● HistoryDAO has a secondary market for NFTs that allows users to discover efficiently, evaluate, trade, manage, and ultimately value moments or histories;

● HistoryDAO is entirely owned and managed by the community, and the community agenda entirely drive the development of the DAO;

HistoryDAO, which is basically an NFT platform that uses DAOs (i.e. Decentralized community organisations.

While HistoryDAO provides the service of recording history for individuals, it also has a history that has been agreed upon by the DAO organization – the community is responsible for recording weekly, monthly, and annual historical figures, historical processes, historical albums and significant historical events.

What does HistoryDAO do to organize and market products?

Let’s explore the functions and services of HistoryDAO in depth from three aspects.

Nickel-Found Technology NFTs (Minting History Secondary Markets)

As mentioned above, HistoryDAO lets users record diverse historical information, which will be kept in the user’s blockchain wallet in the form of NFTs, which are open, transparent, and 100% tamper-proof.

Data that is recorded can include any data. All bits and pieces from life are acceptable, including great memories shared with loved ones or good moments in games. When people of the future reproduce the life of our contemporaries through NFTs recorded by HistoryDAO, they’ll be far more confident of dates and intact preservation than we are of the ancients by studying the map of the Qingming Festival.

HistoryDAO users must pay 0.01ETH for minting NFTs. This is a combination of a service charge and a gasoline fee. The DAO controls the market liquidity reserve and the DAO treasurery. This is where the service fee is transferred.

Users can circulate the historical NFT they have minted and trade it in the secondary market. The HistoryDAO market receives a commission of 2% on each trade. This is then transferred to the DAO Treasury.

HistoryDAO will sort historical NFTs as well. The sorting will be based on multiple properties such as page views, listing time and favorite NFTs. To ensure fair exposure, every algorithm change must be presented in the DAO.

Initial NFT Offering (INO)

To make history recording more efficient, HistoryDAO introduces the concept of “Initial NFT Offerings,” or INOs. Every user has the ability to contribute topics to a collection. The collection is built by other members of the community.

Let’s take sporting events as an example.

Users can make NFTs of any sport or game in a season. As the season goes on, they will record details about each game using information like video clips and photos. The NFT for a beautiful game will be more collectible than that of an ordinary game, while the NFT for the final of a playoff is much more valuable. To collect NFTs, users can choose from any number of games and pick the most memorable moments. The INO campaign allows brands to re-use the impact of past events. This is extremely cost-effective.

This is only one example in the vast world of sport. However, an INO campaign can be launched by HistoryDAO under almost any category.

HistoryDAO is also available to brands that have innovative marketing plans. This allows them to commemorate their campaigns using NFTs while giving them more life via trading and audience engagement.

DAOs and tokens

HistoryDAO, unlike other NFT platforms focuses more heavily on community interaction. HistoryDAO does not function as an NFT trading platform, but a recorder of history. HistoryDAO focuses more on the algorithm that encourages community activity when designing products, in order to help build strong communities like Reddit.

Part of community power is preventing centralization of historical records, and freedom of speech. The censorship by powerful interests groups can be stopped in decentralized communities. They will increase people’s enthusiasm for decentralized historical records, enhancing the value of HistoryDAO NFTs.

HistoryDAO’s native token $HAO is the key to its governance. Participation in the DAO requires $HAO to be held. Community members are eligible to participate in governance activities such as voting, commenting and submitting proposals after they have been accepted into the DAO.

HistoryDAO products can also be governed by $HAO. If $HAO is used for payment, it will be charged 1.5% rather than the standard 2.2% commission when conducting NFT transactions.

HistoryDAO Empowers Web3: Writing from Witnessing

It is clear that history holds a unique meaning for each person and humanity. As Tang Taizong Li Shimin said, “Take copper as a mirror, and you can correct your clothes. You can see the changes and losses in people if you use them as mirrors. Take history as a mirror, and you can know the rise and fall.”

The foundation upon which we can move forward is history.

Relevant interest groups may revise historical records to cover up scandals or bend the record for their own private use. History records often become biased and less fair because of subjective feelings.

HistoryDAO today is working to reverse the decline of historical records using blockchain technology and NFT technology. HistoryDAO, like Bitcoin, decentralizes mining power. HistoryDAO, however, decentralizes history’s power.

Historical records that are decentralized and resistant to tampering will be able to record the history of multiple angles and ensure authenticity and fairness.

This is the embodiment of the spirit advocated by Web3 – Web3 advocates individual sovereignty and individual value in a diverse community context, in which case we believe the victors may no longer write history, and all human beings can participate equally.

The relevance of Web3 will increase if NFTs are connected to topics that exist in the real-world. This will attract more users to learn the Web3 world. NFT adoption can also be made possible by historical records. This will help to further develop the Web3 universe.

HistoryDAO’s INO campaign can provide marketing support to various brands. Web2 brands have been promoting their products through Web3 media. Tiffany’s launch of CryptoPunks custom NFTs and Starbucks’ Starbucks Odyssey program are good examples.

Web3’s influence grows and more Web2 companies will start to think about Web3 as a tool for community growth and marketing. Web3 is a straightforward and easy-to-understand marketing plan that can be used by unfamiliar Web2 companies.

HistoryDAO launched the INO campaign to meet this demand. This type of demand will likely be one of the main drivers of HistoryDAO’s future growth.

Once in stone. Next in text.

HistoryDAO’s founding mission was to allow everyone to record history without encroachment by any centralized power. HistoryDAO’s purpose is to decentralize the power over historical records.

This is undoubtedly groundbreaking, and it is also a deconstruction of the spirit of Web3 – Web3 is far more than decentralized finance, as it includes multiple levels of thinking, application, and integration into human culture. Everybody will soon be able, thanks to the blockchain technology’s power of historical records that are decentralized and can be stored in a secure way, to record their experiences.
