DIA is the First Oracle to Integrate with Astar Network

DIA has become the first oracle provider in integrating its oracle network with Astar Network. This is done on the Polkadot Relaychain. DeFi applications can connect directly to Astar data via the oracle deployment.

Open-source data provider DIA has announced that it will integrate its decentralized Oracle infrastructure with Astar Network. The network runs on Polkadot Relaychain. This oracle deployment will facilitate DeFi applications on Astar to easily connect to the outside world data via DIA’s trusted oracles.

Astar Network (formerly known as Plasm) is a Polkadot dApp Hub that supports Ethereum and WebAssembly. It also offers layer 2 solutions such ZK Rollups. Astar Network won 3rd Polkadot parchain auction on Dec 2, 2021 and was onboarded on the Polkadot Relay Chain, December 18, 2021.

As the Polkadot Relay Chain doesn’t support smart contracts, Astar is working to provide a solution for all developers by parachain where EVM and WebAssembly smart contracts can co-exist and communicate with each other.

Thanks to Astar’s Ethereum and WebAssembly compatibility, DeFi applications can seamlessly be deployed on Astar’s parachain, where DIA will be able to feed them with accurate and transparent market data. DIA’s price feed oracles will fuel a range of use cases, such as lending and borrowing protocols, stablecoins, staking rewards and many more.

DIA aggregates trade price data directly from both centralized and non-centralized exchanges to create the data feeds. This allows DIA to offer accurate price feeds and minimize data manipulation through its decentralized data sourcing.
