Crypto Exchange Bitstamp Lists Shiba Inu as SHIB Adoption Grows – Altcoins Bitcoin News

Bitstamp has also listed the shiba-inu cryptocurrency. Users of Bitstamp will now be able trade SHIB against both the U.S. Dollar and the Euro. This announcement was made as more trading platforms list shiba-inu, and more shops accept the meme cryptocurrency for payment.

Bitstamp Supports Shiba Inu Crypto

Bitstamp, a cryptocurrency exchange announced Wednesday it had added support for four additional cryptocurrencies including SHIB (the popular meme currency).

SHIB was not included in the Bitstamp exchange. The three additional cryptocurrencies that were added are gala (GALA), DYDX (DYDX), and perpetual protocol. These cryptocurrencies will allow users to trade against the U.S. dollars or the Euro.

On Wednesday, the London-based exchange allowed withdrawals and deposits for shiba Inu. Users “will be able to place and cancel limit orders” on Thursday, Bitstamp detailed, adding that “Order matching will start and trades will be executed normally” on the same day. This was clarified by the exchange:

We will allow all types of orders and cards purchases to the trading pairs once the order books have enough liquidity.

However, Bitstamp noted that “for the time being, these assets will not be available to our U.S. and Singapore customers. ”

Shiba Inu Crypto Adoption Rising

It has steadily increased in popularity to use the meme crypto shiba Inu. Travala, a crypto-friendly online travel site, revealed Tuesday that SHIB was now available as a payment option, so users can purchase 3 million products using this meme crypto.

Newegg, a retail giant, recently stated that it would accept SHIB payments for its platforms. AMC Theaters announced it would start accepting shiba Inu within the first quarter. SHIB was added to the support of Kraken and Gemini in November.

Robinhood has been asking for supporters of meme crypto to petition Change.org to get SHIB listed on their popular trading platform. However, the company said recently that they are not in any hurry to include another cryptocurrency.
