Leading ASIC mining device manufacturer Bitmain has revealed a new bitcoin miner that’s even faster than the company’s last machine, which boasts 198 terahash per second (TH/s). Antminer S19 XP is a new liquid-cooled ASIC mining machine that produces 255 TH/s (at 20.8 joules per terahash)
Bitmain launches the most efficient mining rig to date at 255 TH/s & 20.8 J/T
Bitmain’s latest application-specific circuit (ASIC), has been a big hit. Antminer S19 XP HYD. is a new bitcoin miner that’s even more powerful than the Antminer S19 Pro+ Hyd. Bitmain announced the machine at January’s end.
Antminer S19 XP Hyd. claims to produce a whopping 255 TH/s of computing power, which is a lot faster than today’s top machines producing 100 to 112 TH/s. This ASIC also runs faster than the S19 Pro+ Hyper. which produces 198 TH/s. While that specific machine won’t be available to the public until May 2022, the latest 255 TH/s machines won’t be delivered until January through March, 2023.
At the time of writing, both machines are available for purchase on Bitmain’s website. The specifications show that the hydro-cooling miner can mine BTC and BCH. Each unit draws 5,304 watts from the wall. The S19 Hyd is a single unit. It will run you $19 890, and bulk orders are possible.
You can also get the S19 Pro+ hybrid. It is also available for $15.048 per unit. However, the XP model is slightly less efficient in terms per terahash. Hydro-cooling Pro+ units have a efficiency rating of 27.5J/T. XP units, on the other hand, offer 20.8 J/T.
These machines were unavailable for purchase, but the Microbt Whatsminer M30S++ is still available to buyers. Bitmain currently doesn’t have any S19 Pros (110 TH/s) available, but the company is selling S19j Pro units with 104 TH/s for $9,984 per mining rig.
The machines mentioned above will generate just over $10 in BTC profits per day at 110 to 112 T/s with $0.12 per Kilowatt-hour (kWh) electricity. Estimates show, with today’s current BTC price, $0.12 per kWh, and an S19 Pro+ Hyd. One unit could earn a miner around $19.89 per Day in BTC profits.
S19XP units are also available from the ASIC manufacturer, and come with 140 TH/s. They cost $11,620 each rig. The company seems to have ASIC stock ready to go, as most of Bitmain’s mining rigs were sold out last month. Bitmain’s website notes that the hydro-cooling miners are best used in Bitmain’s custom containers. Antspace HK3 containers are available for sale at $110,000. They can hold 210 mining rigs, and 1 Megawatt (MW), of power.
Let us know what you think of the Bitmain Antminer S19 Hyd. We’d love to hear your opinions about the mining machine.
