Press release
PRESS RELEASE. MetaGods, the world’s first play-to-earn 8-bit action role-playing game built on the blockchain, introduced an upcoming in-game land sale with a group of amazing backers involved, including world-famous Youtuber MrBeast. MetaGods is an online game inspired by Greek mythology. Players will battle against gods in order to ascend the virtual world. Players must create their own characters using NFTs in order to improve their chance of winning battles, and earn rewards. MetaGods players have the option to team up with other MetaGods members and take on epic bosses while they strive for godhood.
The blockchain-based role-playing game (RPG) uses two tokens – $MGOD and $RELIC – powering the entire MetaGods ecosystem. Players use $MGOD as the platform’s governance token, and also to participate in special in-game events. The other token is $RELIC, which players can earn by playing, and that they can use to make purchases on the MetaGods Marketplace.
MetaGods Game Lands
Players can use either $MGOD or $BNB to acquire 1×1, 2×2, or 4×4 lands. A larger land parcel will yield higher rewards for the players and more passive income.. You can find 3500 lands across 35 different dungeons. There are 100 land parcels for each dungeon. MetaGods gives players the ability to access other lands inside a particular dungeon. If a player dies, all landowners in the dungeon get a piece of the dead player’s loot, democratizing the gameplay possibilities.
Enhanced Land Ecosystems
A growing number of partners and investors are part of the innovative gaming ecosystem MetaGods is creating, including Myrtle Sarrosa and Joshua Abrera.
MetaGods offers many opportunities for community members that purchase land. In addition to being a part of the project’s growth and having the opportunity to be in direct contact with other land/dungeon owners (such as MrBeast), land ownership creates a passive income stream as owners in a dungeon will receive rewards through a raffle based on the percentage of land owned. The idea is that the greater the land ownership, the better the chances of players battling in the dungeon. The owners can either use the rewards to make a profit or sell them on the in-game market.
Additionally, MetaGods players can stake their character NFTs in missions to earn $RELIC tokens through the platform’s built-in NFT Mission Staking Failure Rate feature. The platform will distribute all $RELIC tokens to landowners within a dungeon if the mission is unsuccessful. The player will receive $RELIC reward tokens if the mission succeeds. Landowners also earn a fee from any winnings. The feature works for everyone, and is basically a win-win situation. Additionally, landowners may construct buildings on their own land in order to generate more income, and to boost their NFT figures.
MetaGod has a huge potential
Recent developments in the crypto industry have seen unprecedented growth thanks to GameFi and play-to earn video games. Today many investors take part in millions of dollars of investments and acquisitions related to cryptocurrency. MetaGods joins the GameFi stage and attracts more avid gamers as well as investors such as MrBeast to its expanding ecosystem.
GameFi lovers are excited to become part of a dynamic and interactive community with many possibilities.
