AVAX and NEAR were the most notable gainers Tuesday as crypto markets rose over 14% as of Wednesday. LUNA was also higher, and climbed by as much as 22% in today’s market session.
WAVES
WAVES was easily the biggest gainer during Tuesday’s trading session, as it rose by as much as 46% on the day.
Today’s rally in WAVES/USD saw prices climb to their highest level since December 17, hitting the long-term resistance point of $19.60 in the process.
This surge comes as the ceiling of $12.60 was broken during yesterday’s session, with gains extending throughout the course of today.
WAVES has risen to $19.67 intraday, less than 24hours after trading as low at $12.63.
You can clearly see in the chart that profit-takers made an immediate move to close their positions after WAVES hit resistance.
Also, price strength is up at an all-time high. The 14-day RSI stands at 75.
NEAR Protocol
Despite AVAX being up as high as 20% Tuesday, cryptocurrency gains faded slightly as bearish pressure subsided.
However, NEAR, which was trading above 20% earlier today, continued to do so as of writing this, as Tuesday’s session matured.
NEAR/USD has risen to $11.53 as of today’s writing after a low of $9.10 intraday to begin the week.
Bullish pressure is currently at NEAR increase for the past two sessions. It has moved away from $8.11 as its support level.
Prices traded at their lowest levels since December 5th, but bulls appeared to be back after a dip from the 50-level on the 14 day RSI.
Waves now appears to be heading towards the $12 resistance level. If it hits this point, bears or profit-takers may see it as an opportunity to liquidate.
