Press Release
PRESS RELEASE. AuroraFS’ vision for the future of DApps has been revealed to have advanced. These DApps will run on the distributed P2P cloud storage. AuroraFS has announced its intention to start building DApps that will be run on Web3Tube and the streaming network.
Web3Tube, the decentralized video storage/sharing application has been fully tested for more than a month. Web3Tube, the first distributed application to demonstrate the power and capability of AuroraFS’s decentralized cloud network, was launched in full test mode. With the development of additional DApps now underway, developers are needed for DApps.
How do these new development plans look?
AuroraFS is looking for Decentralized App Developers in order to develop the next generation DApps. For the AuroraFS blockchain network’s future DApps to be able to run and show the immense power and expansibility of its peer-provided global database resource pool, they will need new ideas and talent. The network started looking for both.
These ideas not only come from network advisors and contributors, but the AuroraFS community was also asked to participate and offer suggestions for next-generation DApps. This is a smart move, as the community will be required to play an integral role in the operation of the DApps at the front. As AuroraFS demonstrates, the community was asked to take an integral role in developing the network.
“We were excited to get feedback from the AuroraFS community. They’re using the network actively on Web3Tube and involved in all of the contests and upgrades that have been made to the decentralized network, so it is certainly a good idea to consider their valuable feedback for the next phase of AuroraFS DApps.” – Warwick Powell, Gauss Aurora Lab Design and Research Leader
DApps for AuroraFS available up to Now
Web3Tube was the original DApp that demonstrated the enormous capabilities of AuroraFS, the decentralized content network. This took quite a while, as Web3Tube still was at conceptualization, and AuroraFS was only just past the stage of hypothesizing. Web3Tube’s downloadable version has been online since March when the first airdrop campaign began.
Web3Tube can be compared to YouTube. However, it’s unique because it is completely decentralized. Web3Tube relies on fully decentralized yet secure AuroraFS innovation. This combines the most advanced technologies in order to achieve HD quality and a highly secured environment. AuroraFS has achieved this feat while maintaining anonymity and integrity at the same time, and this is what motivates them to continue developing more DApps for this season.
Final Mentions and Next steps for AuroraFS
AuroraFS is closer to its planned token launch and mainnet launch in Q3 this year, with the development plans for DApps now complete. It is unknown when the Q3 launch will take place as both the Web3Tube and network are continuously improving.
Recently, the final round of third-official future airdrop campaigns and contests ended. The Gauss Aurora Labs team, which includes contributors to AuroraFS, made numerous appearances at tech and blockchain events. Blockchain Week Australia was attended by members of the team at the end March. FinTech21 took place in Melbourne May 18th and 19. The Gauss Aurora Labs team aims to spread awareness about the latest blockchain technology.
With the required system requirements, you can get the most recent version of AuroraFS online. With the launch of full-scale network, this may be more important information. Broadband mining has already been enabled on a trial basis. Other AuroraFS news can be found on Telegram and community social channels.
