Rad Rabbits prepares to launch its second collection of NFT collections on OpenSea.
This guide will show you how to go down the rabbit hole, and buy a Rad Rabbits NFT.
Step 1 – Setting Up a MetaMask Digital Wallet – (where your NFTs are stored)
This is the place to create your MetaMask bank account http://metamask.io. To create a MetaMask wallet on a PC, download the Chrome Extension. If you prefer to use the mobile app to create your wallet on your iPhone or Android phone, you can download the extension. A 12-word or 24-word phrase can be used to create a wallet. It’s important to note that this should be written down somewhere secure and never shared. This 12-word phrase should be written on paper. For safety purposes, do not store this phrase on your smartphone. Face ID can be used to secure your wallet login. Just an FYI, MetaMask users’ identities remain anonymous.
Rad Rabbits NFTs are a way to purchase a small amount of cryptocurrency Ethereum. After you have decided which Rad Rabbit to buy, you can connect your MetaMask wallet with OpenSea.
Once the wallet is connected, you can select which Rad Rabbit you’d like to add to your collection and press “Buy Now” and continue through the checkout process. You will need to account for gas fees – so make sure you have enough ETH in your wallet for gas fees. A gas fee is a term used to describe a “transaction” fee.
Step 2 – Purchasing Ethereum- (to purchase NFT’s and pay for gas fees)
You can buy Ethereum second to purchase any NFT. This step can be done in two ways: you can either buy Ethereum on an exchange or the Metamask wallet.
Option 1 – In the metamask mobile app you will want to press on the side panel and then “ Add Funds”. You have three choices to integrate ETH with the metamask mobile app: Wyre; Transak; and Moonpay. You will be guided through the steps to acquire Ethereum after you choose one. Your Metamask wallet will be credited with the ETH.
Option 2 – Purchasing Ethereum from an exchange. Gemini is the one we recommend. Sign up to create an account if you want to buy ETH on an exchange. Next, you’ll need to input your bank details to be able to buy ETH from the exchange. You have now created a Gemini Account, bought Ethereum and set up your MetaMaskWallet. The last step of the process is to transfer the Ethereum from your Gemini Account to your MetaMask Wallet. To copy your MetaMask wallet address- simply hover over “Account 1” and the option “Copy to clipboard” will appear like in the below screenshot.
After you have sent the Ethereum to the MetaMask wallet the funds will show up and you can purchase Rad Rabbit NFT. To send the funds to your MetaMask wallet, click on the Transfer button in the top right corner of your Gemini profile- then select the “Withdraw from Gemini” page. You will be able to select Ethereum for your Withdraw currency. For the Destination, copy your MetaMask wallet address. Enter the amount to complete your withdraw.
Step 3 – Purchasing the Rad Rabbit
After you’ve set up your wallet, and have Ethereum in you metamask, you can navigate to Rad Rabbits OpenSea. After you’ve decided on the Rad Rabbit that you wish to purchase, you can connect your MetaMask to OpenSea.
Once the wallet is connected, you can select which Rad Rabbit you’d like to add to your collection and press “Buy Now” and continue through the checkout process. Your Rad Rabbit Where are You?
Your NFT will be saved on the blockchain once it has been bought. The smart contract address of the NFT’s collection is provided after purchase. After purchase, your NFT will show up in your MetaMask wallet. It will also be displayed on your Opensea profile.
What’s the Deal with Rad Rabbits?
To ensure uniqueness and rarity of the project’s characters, each Rabbit comes with exclusive items, such as the original hand-drawn sketch and other content that only belongs to the owner. NFT also allows you to enter the Rad Party in Los Angeles 2023, and future events.
One main future goal of the project is expanding the 2D Rad Rabbits into the Metaverse within the next year in 2023 with “The Warren.” A warren is a rabbit ecosystem where the species live. Rad Rabbits intends to digitize the world and create a Web3 space for collectors where they can interact with each other Rabbits or NFT collectors.
