ARPA is a privacy-preserving and security-oriented computation network. Quantum Music, an internet marketplace, has partnered ARPA with Quantum Music. Quantum Music is a platform that targets the $30 billion Asian influencer market. Thanks to the partnership, Quantum Music will leverage the Web 3.0 and metaverse trends while bringing mass adoption to ARPA’s platform.
Quantum Music offers an online marketplace where influencers can connect with brands. The rapid growth of influencer culture via social media platforms like TikTok has allowed it to grow at an incredible pace. More than 300 influencers have joined the Quantum ecosystem, which now boasts a 70+ million follower base – eight times higher than at the beginning of 2021. Quantum Music has become the go-to platform for Asian Influencers seeking to boost their profile and gain additional income. Brands can also hire influencers to improve precision marketing by using them for different campaigns.
Quantum Music’s partnership with ARPA is at an important time as it looks to move beyond Asia and embrace innovative technologies like blockchain, metaverse (NFTs) and non-fungible coins (BTCs).
Quan Zhang (quantum Music CEO and co-founder) commented on this partnership.
“I have a Ph.D. in Physics, and innovation is in our company’s DNA. We want to explore experiments in the Metaverse and NFT space with a strong partner like ARPA.”
Quantum Music focuses mainly on micro-influencers. Many of these people find it hard to use innovative technology to their advantage because the creators have not been equally distributed. Zhang explained:
“Web3.0 will likely change how micro-influencers work. We want to better help these micro-influencers build and capitalize on their true fans with the power of cutting-edge technologies, such as blockchain.”
Quantum Music: How will ARPA help?
ARPA offers secure computing capability off-chain that’s compatible with all Layer-1 Blockchains. It offers Randcast, a verifiable random generator (RNG), to clients who are looking for Web 3.0 solutions. This generator is a decentralized, verifiable and low-cost random number generator that can be used to support the creators in the metaverse.
Users will have a better experience if there is randomness. This helps users and developers in Web 3.0 to produce digital signatures, private and public keys and block hashes. To ensure fair chances of winning, online games use randomness. In the metaverse, this need for randomness is even greater.
Yemu Xu is the ARPA cofounder.
“We believe it’ll be a win-win. Quantum Music will be a pioneer in the Web3.0 world, using the most advanced RNG tool available to guarantee the fairness and security of future tokenized assets. At the same time, Randcast will empower Quantum Music’s global fan base that’ll provide adequate feedback for future iteration from a big sample capacity.”
Quantum Music Raises Money for Republic
ARPA has partnered with Quantum Music after it secured $1 million in seed funding. It is now launching a public crowdfunding campaign via Republic, a blockchain-oriented investing platform which helps startups raise capital from institutional and community investors. Besides regular investors contributing via Republic, the platform secured funds from big names like Chris Bordeaux, who is managing director of LFG Ventures – a venture capital firm with exposure in SpaceX, Bitcoin, Kraken, and BlockFi, among others.
Quantum Music also sees this opportunity as a way to reach the Republic community of over 1.5million investors. Quantum Music had raised $68,000 as of March 1st, surpassing the goal of $278,000 which suggests that the community is positive about the project.
The Republic community is confident in Quantum Music’s future, especially judging by its current growth rate. It had an unprecedented year in 2021. The total number of followers of its affiliate influencers exceeded 70 million by December. Total revenue increased 100% year-on year.
Quantum Music founders are also experienced in content creation, consulting and venture capital.
Republic interviewed Zhang about Zhang’s comments:
“Globally, the potential of the influencer market is huge. The pandemic infected has accelerated its expansion. As Web 3.0 continues to evolve, I anticipate the influencer industry will expand rapidly. Thus, at Quantum Music, our current priority is to capture a bigger slice of the new pie baked each year instead of getting too bogged down in competition.”
Quantum Music plans to use fan tokens or NFTs in the future. This is likely to accelerate adoption.
