MetaSolare is a new Web3 startup for “MusicFi”, “AnimeFi”, and “GameFi” whose co-founders include DJ Steve Aoki and Masato Matsuura, chairman of Japanese Entertainment Company Avex. Today, the company launched its Web3 projects and released details about it.
We are on the cusp of a major paradigm shift, from Web2 and Web3, as new entertainment genres that fully utilize NFTs or tokens are starting to gain widespread acceptance. However, this new world requires new thinking. A new architecture must be created where all users are empowered and involved in decision making.
This revolution demands more than knowledge about the entertainment industry. It also requires financial and blockchain knowledge. MetaSolare brought together specialists from each of these sectors to develop a completely new Web3 entertainment platform.

■Anime Fi
Combining anime with blockchain gives users new ways to become involved in animated media. MetaSolare was a project that combined tokens and NFTs to make an entirely new type of animation. It also brought together creators and users.

■Music Fi
Tokens and NFTs can be a powerful way to connect fans and artists. They allow new forms of ownership as well as ways to help creators. This new technology will revolutionize the way music is created and who stars are made.
MetaSolare plans to create crypto-native artists using music, with the support of DAOs (and NFTs).. MetaSolare token and NFT holders will be given the opportunity to be directly involved in the artists future: for example, token and NFT holders will help hold auditions to pick new artists and talents and help them get ready for their big debut, with livestreams being held at regular intervals to help show how far they’ve come.

MetaSolare’s core members are a group of leading experts from the entertainment, blockchain, and financial industries, who’ve come together as individuals to create a way to provide entirely new forms of entertainment, and build a new economy together with users and creators.
KENTARO BEPPU （CEO / Co-Founder）
He was the former national general manger of a large Japanese chain of restaurants and he also founded his own IT marketing firm. A well-known member of the Japanese investment community, he promotes financial literacy under the name “Ken Jinguji”.
ASAHI IWANAGA（COO / Co-Founder）
Asahi is the Chief Operating Officer for MetaSolare, and former President & CEO of Avex Technologies. He previously spent three years as a Steam publisher, publishing games. Asahi was a product manager for the broadcast/VOD entertainment sector at a NASDAQ listed company. Asahi attended college at Wisconsin-Madison, and then helped to create an e-commerce platform at a Silicon Valley startup.
As of 6/24/2022, in order to focus full-time on the MetaSolare project, Asahi left his role as President of Avex Technologies and now serves as Avex’s Web3/Blockchain Technology advisor. He will participate in every important decision as the COO for the project.
MASATO MATSUURA （Co-Founder）
Founder of Avex, one of Japan’s biggest entertainment companies. He was a pivotal figure in modern Japanese music’s history. He brought dance music to Japan, and he has connections with many DJs around the globe.
STEVE AOKI（Co-Founder）
Steve Aoki, who has nearly three billion music streams under his belt, is truly a visionary. Billboard described the 2x-GRAMMY-Nominated artist/DJ/producer and Dim Mak Records founder as “one of the most in-demand entertainers in the world.” A true renaissance man, Steve Aoki is also a fashion designer, author and entrepreneur.
TSUBASA MURAKAMI （CLO / Co-Founder）
A certified M&A Senior Expert and a certified Business Succession Senior Expert with the Kinzai Institute for Financial Affairs. He began investing in angels and building investment funds in 2016, participating in more than 2 billion dollars in funding projects. He now puts his experience to good use working with lawyers and tax accountants both in Japan and abroad to enhance corporate value through business development studies and M&A advisory services.
SEIHAKU YOSHIDA (Co-Founder)
In 2018, Seihaku Yoshida, who was also the President of HashPort, Inc., founded it. In Japan, he has supported many projects including Enjin. Qtum. Tron. Tezos. HashPort was established in 2020 by HashPalette, Inc., which is an NFT subsidiary. HashPalette conducted Japan’s first IEO in 2021, attracting 22.4 billion yen for a billion yen offering.
ROBERT TRAN (Cofounder)
Director, Animoca Brands Japan Executive Director. He was formerly VP at Experian and went on to co-found many companies including iClick Interactive (the largest SaaS platform for digital marketing automation in Asia), UNDONE (an industry leader D2C company that makes customized watches) and UCOLLEX Intl., a new-generation creator platform that uses blockchain technology.
TAKASHI HATANAKA, Co-Founder
Goldman Sachs for 23 years, where I worked in several of its most significant divisions such as proprietary trading and Asian Equity derivatives. A bio-venture company’s full-time CEO and director.
SHINICHI HISAMATSU, CTO
After earning a master’s degree in Media and governance from Keio University, Shinichi Hisamatsu studied computer science and man-machine interfaces as a researcher at the Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies at the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies (University of Tokyo), as well as at the MIT Media Lab and Keio University School of Nursing and Medical Care.
Shinichi, a tireless supporter of startups and pioneering thinkers has used his technical knowledge to assist multiple companies in launching with great success.
His expertise includes web development and mobile apps, as well as blockchain.
Shinichi, who was the previous CTO of Zen Global Limited built a blockchain-based donor platform and an auditing system for charities foundations, NPOs or NGOs in Malaysia, Britain and other countries.
Aipro Inc and Theo Design are his current CTOs. He also researches digital technologies to help entrepreneurs at Aoyama Gakuin University.
Teruaki Asano (CFO)
Teruaki joined Goldman Sachs’ finance division in 2005. Over the next 15 years he was responsible for monitoring P&L, balance sheets, and valuations of financial products in fixed income, equity derivatives, real estate and private equity.
He left Goldman Sachs to become the CFO at a real-estate venture company in 2020. His experience included debt financing, managing back-office operations, monitoring the performance of private real estate investments, as well as monitoring the performance of those proprietary investments. He is currently a venture capitalist and provides financial advice for a variety of start up companies.
Teruaki has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rikkyo University and an MBA from Waseda Graduate School of Finance, Accounting and Law. Teruaki is CFA Charterholder. He also has passed the US CPA Exam in Washington.
