How VeChain Landed $100 Million UFC Marketing Deal

VeChain Foundation announced multi-year collaboration with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The partners claim the deal is a “first of its kind” aimed at “breaking marketing ground” for the blockchain-based organization and the mixed martial arts organization.

In that sense, the VeChain Foundation will have an “unprecedented level of integration into key UFC assets”. It will cover live events and broadcasts, promotion at the in-arena, as well original content that is reserved solely for UFC distribution.

According to the UFC, there are more than 900 million homes in over 175 countries that have been exposed to mixed martial arts events. The network could see an enormous increase in its adoption if only 1% decides to join the VeChain(VET) ecosystem.

Sunny Lu (Co-Founder, CEO, and CEO at VeChain) said these things about the partnership.

VeChain’s UFC Deal: How it will benefit them

According to the release, VeChain will own UFC’s official fighter rankings titleship, this is designed to provide the blockchain with visibility and to attract more users to the network. The ranking will be titled “UFC Ranking Powered by VeChain”.

VeChain will have a branded presence at all UFC Octagon events. This visibility will be extended to Pay-Per-View and UFC digital events as well as its social media platforms and in-venue events.

UFC and the non-profit organization based on blockchain will cooperate to create original content and promote corporate activities. UFC athletes will receive financial incentives to act as VeChain ambassadors and further strengthen the network’s visibility and potential adoption levels.

This partnership will make its debut at the Teixeira-vs. Prochazka match at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Saturday, June 11.

At the time of writing, VET’s price seems to be slightly reacting to the news as it records a 3% profit on its 4-hour chart.
