An interview with REV3AL’s founders on building digital counterfeiting and copyrights fraud prevention tools.
When it comes to the NFT industry, there’s hardly a single resolution to the industry-agnostic issues of digital fraud and counterfeiting. Digital IDs, NFTs and copyright images, videos and other digital media are easily copied and distributed, which makes it difficult to identify a way to protect against different kinds of attacks.
REV3AL Platform believes it has the solution that all of digital counterfeiting and copyright theft can be prevented. The platform’s goal is to transform digital interactions and provide new opportunities for industries to use secure, safe digital asset ecosystems.
“Effective fraud prevention is a door with multiple locks requiring different keys, passcodes, biometrics, and other access levels to penetrate,”Adam Russell is the Chief Revenue Officer and Co-founder of REV3AL technology. He explained that “most thieves might be able to pick a lock or crack a code, but they cannot do them all.”
REV3AL’s founding members came together in 2021 after they realized that the increasing number of scams and counterfeits was preventing the NFT industry and digital assets from reaching their full potential.
“I agree with the experts that think NFTs are the adoption ramps to encourage the masses into blockchain technology,”Mo Kumarsi (Co-founder, Chief Global Office of REV3AL), said the following:
REV3AL’s years of knowledge in arts and cybersecurity as well as systems architecture and system design led to a multi-factor solution for artists, brands, and owners that protects them from copyright fraud.
“We incorporate several layers of authentication features to create a robust anti-counterfeit solution,” says Kumarsi.
He mentions that layers of encrypted security include hiding authentication built into the asset. Any consumer can self-verify the originality of a digital asset in seconds using REV3AL’s platform or physical decoder. With REV3AL’s system of authentication tools, artists and creators can protect their work from duplicators, and owners can be confident that their asset is authentic.
REV3AL’s extensive protection via digital and software means it is truly unique among anti-counterfeit system. It embeds dynamic layers of variable information into every authentication layer to protect the digital asset. This prevents unauthorized duplication or distribution.
REV3AL uses its native token as part of its system, which is in addition to their technology. A REV3AL token can be burned to create a deflationary currency each time technology is used. The token will also come with additional perks for holders, including access to REV3AL’s upcoming metaverse platform.
There is a high demand in the market for an effective digital anti-counterfeiting solution. REV3AL has already established over 35 partnerships in less than a year with different online marketplaces and platforms. This number is expected to increase by at least two quarters.
“Our team is aggressively working on a minimum viable product which will be built and tested on a secure NFT marketplace,”Russell. “The MVP will be available in coming months and serve as the first line of defense against the rising need for solutions to protect people against the scams and fraud.”
The next step on REV3AL’s roadmap is a commercially viable product that can be implemented into any compatible platform through an API.
Our digital lives have become more connected. It is crucial to protect our digital assets. Whether it’s NFTs, original content, music, or personal identification, digital media is easy to duplicate and needs a robust solution like REV3AL to protect consumers from digital counterfeits.
Just as Norton 360 became a household name for consumer cybersecurity, REV3AL has set its sights on becoming the “standard for digital media security in the metaverse.”
