Sony Group Corporation revealed that it has joined forces with Theta labs to create 3D non-fungible currency (NFT), assets. NFTs for Sony Spatial Reality Display will soon be available. These NFTs can be used to view three-dimensional images.
Sony 3D NFTs for Spatial Reality Enhancement Display Features
Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation SonyTheta Labs are the creators behind the Theta cryptocurrency. The Theta Blockchain is created by Theta Labs. Theta projectThis is a description of a distributed video streaming network, or video delivery system with its own crypto asset. theta network (THETA). According to Sony’s announcement sent to Bitcoin.com News, the electronics giant plans to issued ten “Tiki Guy” NFTs, and the firm is issuing two-dimensional versions as well.
NFTs were created for the Sony Spatial Reality Display, a tablet which uses technologies such as augmented reality or 3D enhancements. Sony’s official Youtube channel Publication of a videoThe SRD device is shown in this video along with the technologies used by the tablet.
“Our legacies of cutting-edge visual and spatial realities combine in an incredible 3D optical experience where detailed texture, high contrast, and luminous brightness come together to create a portal to another world,” Sony’s video description explains.
Sony Exec: ‘NFTs Are a Great Way to Showcase the Potential of Sony’s SRD’
SRD plans to incorporate NFTs and metaverse concepts into the device’s offerings and Nick Colsey, Sony’s VP of business development, believes NFTs will enhance the experience. “Immersive, three-dimensional NFTs are a great way to showcase the potential of Sony’s Spatial Reality Display for metaverse enthusiasts and collectors,” Colsey said in a statement.
The Sony-Theta Labs collaboration follows on from the Theta hackathon, which took place just two weeks ago. Bridgetower Capital also launched a Theta Enterprise Validator Node. Since April 16th, 2021, however the value of Theta network has fallen 86.1% against the U.S. dollars.
30-day stats reveal that THETA is at 33.7% lower than last month. Theta is 14th in sales volume among the 17 NFT-issued blockchains. Theta, which has 1,279 sellers and 8,165 buyers, has had $14.74 million in NFT transactions.
