Eminem (the Grammy Award-winning rapper) has signed up to the Bored Ape Yacht Club. They purchased an NFT token (NFT), which costs 123.45 ether ($462,000) via the OpenSea platform.

Eminem, the famous Detroit rapper has signed up for the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
The NFT, named “EminApe,” depicts Eminem’s iconic Bored Ape figure wearing a khaki army cap and a gold chain necklace, both of which he frequently wearsIn real life. BAYC member GeeGazza purchased the digital artwork at 123.45 Ethereum, or approximately $450,000 USD. In November 2021, GeeGazza tweeted, “I still think Eminem is destined to buy my @BoredApeYC one day.”
Six was the digital agency responsible. Six has worked previously with many celebrities in NFT, such as Tycho and Wu-Tang Clan. It’s also not Eminem’s first foray into NFTs: under the moniker “Shady Holdings,” the musician now owns 15 NFTs on OpenSea.
GeeGazza (BAYC member) thanked GeeGazza for buying the NFT in a Twitter message. “I’m living in a simulation,” he wrote, adding: “Madness. Let me write a lyric in your next single.”

A Rapper holds NFTs from Different Collections
Slim Shady owns 166 non-fungible token (NFT), assets from 32 collections according to dappradar.com statistics. Address currently has 1.52 ether after it purchased BAYC 9055 for 123.45 Eminem was able to receive 124 ether via an account called georgio.eth. This account has 504 NFTs, 51 collections including Bored Ape Yacht Club #4936, and 43.98 Ethereum ($164,832) spent on two Cryptopunks.
SABC #2615, Shaq Gives Back #4077, and Adult Fantasy Sub-Dude (130/151) are among Eminem’s other NFTs. In reality, the Shady holdings address contains many ERC721 NFTs.
Eminem’s NFT spending binge comes on the heels of his beat-inspired animated NFTs for Stans, which he released in April. Eminem’s NFT sale took place on the Nifty Gateway NFT platform. Slim Shady, Paul Rosenberg and a number of venture funds invested $30 million into the NFT market Makersplace during August.

Eminem, through his EminApe has joined OpenSea’s 2nd-largest NFT Project by Volume. CryptoSlam says that so far the BAYC had sold 284765 Ethereum (977.6 millions) through secondary transactions. The floor price now stands at 60 Ethereum ($220,000).
He joined a host of celebrities including Stephen Curry, a NBA player, and Jimmy Fallon, a talk-show presenter.
Bored Apes has overtaken CryptoPunks as the floor price leader, which is quite impressive for an initiative that began only in April 2021.
