Bit2me to Support 2gether Customers

Bit2me, an exchange for Spanish crypto, has announced that it plans to absorb accounts of customers who were previously blocked by 2gether (another Spanish cryptocurrency exchange). It revealed a plan to allow customers to transfer funds to the platform and continue trading.

According to information explained in a blog post, Bit2me would reimburse the €20 ($20.00) fee that 2gether told users they had to pay to keep operating using its platform. These users would want to remain in the cryptocurrency environment. Leif Ferreira was co-founder of Bit2me and is the CEO.

Knowledge, innovation, and training are all key ingredients to bring this sector to society. Bit2Me is committed to the beliefs we hold. We believe that the future and present of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology are key. To that end, we aim to remain connected with 2gether and other users in the crypto-ecosystem.

2gether Woes

2gether informed its customers regarding the issues it was facing when 2gether disabled access for customers earlier this month and removed 2gether’s presence from social media. The exchange affected over 100,000 customers. It informed customers it was unable to continue supporting free accounts due to the market slump.

Also at that time, the company imposed a one-time €20 fee on its users, in order for them to continue utilizing platform services. However, customers whose accounts’ funds were below that number would be liquidated. 2gether stated that the market was affecting its business, however Bit2me continued to function normally and even expanded to Latam.

Bit2me, a company that specializes in crypto, announced in May the opening of an office in Brazil. The new office will be able to serve the needs of the Brazilian market, which has more than 20,000,000 users. The company received authorization by the Central Bank of Spain in February to be a virtual asset service provider (VASP) and was the first.
