Coinbase Is Creating a Film Trilogy Featuring Bore Ape Yacht Club NFT Characters – Bitcoin News

Coinbase, a digital currency trading platform, is producing three parts of a film series featuring the non-fungible token NFT project Bored Ape Yacht Club. Coinbase Entertainment will produce the films and will feature selected BAYC NFT characters, which will be crowdsourced by members of the Bored Ape NFT Community.

Coinbase Entertainment will be producing a trilogy of films that feature Crowdsourced bore apies.

Coinbase revealed plans to make a movie trilogy about the Bored Ape Yacht Club (NFT) collection on April 11. A report stemming from one37pm.com indicates that the crypto exchange is “celebrating and amplifying the BAYC community” via the film trilogy.

After publishing the tweets, Coinbase confirmed that Coinbase had published these films. teaser tweetThat meant that something was on the horizon. Coinbase again tweeted a few hours later and stated:

Certain. We’re creating an interactive three-part film featuring the [Bored Ape Yacht Club] & Apecoin communities. Join us in building together [at] degentrilogy.com.

Charlie Kolbrener’s one37pm.com announcement explains how Bored Ape owners may submit their Bored Ape NFTs via the website degentrilogy.com. If chosen, they will appear in the film adventures that also feature the Apecoin.

“At Coinbase, we are dedicated to creating and supporting content projects that speak directly to our community and sustaining the culture of Web3 innovation,” Coinbase Entertainment and culture marketing director William Swann said in a statement. Swann also added:

We believe this interactive series of films will be a powerful catalyst for bringing the next billion people to the crypto-economy. It will also help them understand how Web3 works. We’ve been inspired by the Bored Ape Yacht Club community and [we are]We are thrilled to have them join us in co-creating this film.

On Twitter, Coinbase said people can help make the movie by connecting their wallet, submitting a Bored Ape, and “hide an easter egg.” The move with BAYC is taking place before the company gets ready to launch the upcoming Coinbase NFT Market. To boost its NFT marketplace, Mastercard was partnered by the exchange in January. Mastercard debit and credit card holders will now be able pay via Coinbase NFT for non-fungible token assets.
