The annual Sports Illustrated (SI) Awards have just revealed the line-up for the firm’s 2021 awards show that will broadcast live from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. As a partner of the SI Awards Ultimate Sport Sweepstakes, FTX will offer fans the opportunity to win a bitcoin this year.

Sports Illustrated is an American magazine that is owned by Authentic Brands Group. It has enjoyed great popularity since it was founded in 1954. The SI Awards have been presented annually for the past 67 years, since the inception of the magazine. On Tuesday, December 7, 2018, the SI Awards will be held at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino in Florida.

A sweepstakes will be held at the 2021 SI Awards. The prizes provided by FTX crypto exchange. Fans will have the opportunity to win a single bitcoin (BTC), tickets to the award show, hotel and airfare accommodations, and backstage passes to meet and greet with a “surprise athlete.” FTX has been very involved in the sports industry during the last year and sponsoring the SI Awards comes as no surprise.

Crypto.com, along with UFC, are other prominent cryptocurrency companies that have entered the sports world. Crypto.com has also signed a 20 year deal to name the Staples Center in Los Angeles, where the Lakers are located.

FTX details in an announcement sent to Bitcoin.com News that the firm is “proud to present the most prestigious award of the evening, Sportsperson of the Year.” FTX further added that “honoring this year’s winner as an athlete who best represents the spirit and ideals of sportsmanship, character, and performance. Guests that attend the event will also receive an exclusive Sports Illustrated Awards NFT through FTX US NFT Marketplace to commemorate the event.”

The sweepstakes will be followed by the SI Awards hosted by DJ Khaled, Cari Champion and Cari Champ. 2Chainz will be performing, as well as DJ Irie. JuJu Smith, Schuster, Logan Paul and Rob Gronkowski will also be present at the SI Awards in Florida.
