Crypto Investors More Attractive and Smarter, NFT Profiles Unattractive – Featured Bitcoin News

According to the most recent survey conducted by Cryptovantage, cryptocurrency investors have a higher perceived attractiveness, intelligence, wealth, and value than those who are not. A little over three quarters of the respondents indicated that they would be open to a relationship with someone who mentions cryptocurrency in their dating apps. But 69% said that they have had to end a relationship due to investing in crypto.

Crypto-investors are perceived as more favorable than non-investors

A new survey seeking to determine if investing in cryptocurrency makes one attractive has found that crypto investors are “seen as more attractive, smarter, and wealthier than non-investors.” According to the survey findings in which 1,002 Americans were interviewed, 50% of the female respondents perceive crypto investors to be more attractive than non-investors.

Nearly 46% believe crypto investors are more desirable than non-investors, and 42% feel they’re smarter. A third of respondents believe that crypto investors are wealthier than other non-investors. 40% of men think that crypto investors have more intelligence than non-investors.

On whether they would consider dating a person who mentions crypto in their dating app profile, the study found that “more than three-quarters of respondents would swipe right on someone who mentions being a crypto investor in the dating app, and 55% said they are more likely to go on a date or meet up with someone who invests in crypto.”

Respondents were asked by 37% if they used cryptocurrency to pay for their dates. A third of respondents stated that their partner paid them in crypto, while 31% said it was the other person. 13% claimed they paid each in crypto.

Cryptovantage commented on the results of the survey and said:

Our survey results also indicate that crypto investors could be getting more matches on dating apps than others: About 76% of people said they’re more inclined to swipe right if someone’s dating profile mentions that they’re a crypto investor. The chances of someone identifying with LGBTQ being able to swipe right were ten-fold higher than those who identify as straight.

NFT Profiles Unattractive

Nevertheless, the mere mention of crypto in one’s dating profile can also attract bad actors as some survey respondents will attest. To illustrate, almost 60% of the respondents “claimed to have been targeted by a crypto scammer on a dating app.”

On non-fungible tokens (NFT), the survey found that “women are nearly two times more likely to unfollow someone with an NFT profile than men.” One in four women said they would not date someone with an NFT profile picture.

The survey found that 52% of respondents confirmed that fighting is common among partners following cryptocurrency crashes. About 44% claimed that crypto-investing is their obsession. Overall, 69% of “crypto investors have had a relationship end over a cryptocurrency investment.”
