Crypto Custody Firm Fireblocks Launches Web3 Services Suite – Bitcoin News

Fireblocks is a provider of crypto custody services and has launched an institution suite of Web3 services. Customers will be able to use liquidity from various exchanges and also mint NFTs with this suite. This service has been adopted by many names within the industry. It also offers gaming asset management to manage blockchain-based games using Ethereum or other smart contract-enabled Blockchains.

Fireblocks launches Web3 Services

Fireblocks is a crypto custody company that seeks to increase its range of services in order to take on different types of customers. Fireblocks is a cryptocurrency custody company. announcedits Web3 Suite, which offers new capabilities to customers within the NFT, decentralized finance and blockchain gaming sectors. This product will provide institutions-grade services to those companies who are working on these solutions.

According to some reports, several companies have been added to the service by the company, including Animoca Brands. Stardust. MoonPay. Xternity Games. Griffin Gaming. Wirex. Celsius. They will also have direct access to liquidity from NTF markets and open-source finance exchanges such as Dydx, Uniswap and Rarible.

It was a long-term project and the company got a sneak peak at it. They added support for financial apps to the Terra blockchain (now defunct), which at that time was the 2nd most popular protocol by assets locked. The full suite now supports these services on 35 blockchains including EVM and Non-EVM projects.


Expanding into new fields

While the company already has a massive portfolio of customers, which includes 1,200 different institutions — having secured more than $2.5 trillion in digital assets — the release of these services aims to access a field of customers that Fireblocks would be unable to reach otherwise.

Fireblocks’ CEO and co-founder Michael Shaulov declared:

The goal is to essentially bring all the security arsenal and capabilities that we’ve built for empowering financial firms to operate with crypto to this new group of players.

Fireblocks had previously commented on the significance of play-to earn, which this suite seeks, in the future gaming industry. Fireblocks wrote in a blog posting published May 4:

The next generation of gaming will likely involve NFTs and crypto on some level – the question is when and how, not if.
