Bitpay Reveals List of Merchants Offering Discounts and Special Promotions – Bitcoin News

Although cryptocurrencies’ values have risen significantly in the past three months, many holders of digital assets will use their tokens to purchase holiday gifts or Black Friday deals. Bitcoin Black Friday is scheduled for November 26, 2018. Bitpay, a crypto payments company, has revealed a host of merchants who will offer discounts to customers paying digital assets.

Black Friday Deals from Bitpay Merchants

The world’s largest cryptocurrency payments provider Bitpay has revealed a number of merchants the company is partnered with that will offer deals for Black Friday shoppers who prefer to pay in crypto. Bitcoin Black Friday is a tradition that has been around for many years. Bitcoiners are always looking for deals when it happens. Bitpay revealed special promotions from a number of merchants, but these will not be announced until the week of Thanksgiving.

This year, Bitpay merchants will participate in Black Friday. Ace Jewelers (20% select items), Apmex (precious metals bullion dealer) will offer customers the cash price if they pay in cryptocurrency. When a customer buys a €500 e-fast gift card from Fast Private Jet the company will upgrade it to a €1,000. Bitpay’s CEO Stephen Pair stated that customers are increasingly using crypto payment methods.

“We are seeing so many consumers wanting to live life on crypto and this holiday season again presented us with a great opportunity to support consumers who want to make purchases and merchants who accept crypto payments,” Pair explained during the Black Friday merchants announcement. “As the price of bitcoin continues to climb along with bitcoin cash, ethereum, litecoin and doge, crypto enthusiasts are looking for a way to cash-in and spend their earnings on holiday gifts and Bitpay merchants want to attract new buyers this holiday buying season,” Pair added.

Newegg Deals, Sonic Electronix and Pacsun deals for wrist enthusiasts

Bitpay has also revealed that Hostkey offers a 10% discount on certain dedicated servers plans. Jomashop.com is offering $70 off any $1,000 Bitpay order. Popular e-commerce store NeweggReceive 20% Discount on Select Orders Above $500 and Youth Clothing Store PacsunBitpay customers will also be able to enjoy special discounts on Friday. Customers who shop at Sonic Electronix with Bitpay will have the chance to win an upgrade for their car’s audio system and a $100 Sonic Electronix gift certificate. Wrist Aficionado offers customers who spend at least $10K $300 on any product.

In addition to Bitpay’s merchants, the web portal bitcoinblackfriday.com will also have special deals and promotions for Black Friday shoppers who want to spend bitcoin. At the time of writing, bitcoinblackfriday.com’s deals are currently not available and there’s a message that states: “coming soon.” Bitpay itself is also offering a special deal for the company’s crypto card for U.S. residents only as it will offer the card for free on Black Friday.
