Binance, the world’s leading blockchain and cryptocurrency infrastructure provider, today announced that it has joined the National Cyber-Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA), a nonprofit corporation focused on identifying, validating, mitigating, and neutralizing cybercrime threats. Binance, the pioneering blockchain and cryptocurrency company to officially join the alliance.
To facilitate the sharing of knowledge and expertise among partners in law enforcement, academia, private industry, and academia, The NCFTA has been established since 2002. The NCFTA’s mission is to share and develop threat intelligence in the context of international efforts to fight and defeat cybercrime. NCFTA’s initiatives have helped prevent over $2 billion in potential losses and launch thousands of criminal and civil investigations, which have led to over a thousand arrests.
