Binance Becomes Official Sponsor of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2021) – Sponsored Bitcoin News

Binance is proud to be an official sponsor of 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations tournament (AFCON), which will take place in Cameroon from February 9th through February 6th, 2022.

What You Can Expect

  • Binance, the only cryptocurrency and blockchain platform to host the AFCON 2021 event will now be a sponsor. We are bringing our global brand and technology into African football with this sponsorship deal.
  • Binance will also become the official partner Assisting the Day/Binance Assist Of The Week/Binance Assist Of The Tournament, which will be promoted across CAF’s social media channels and across all six venues in five cities in Cameroon.

TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations began on Sunday, January 9th, 2022, at 5PM (WAT), at Olembe Stadium, Yaounde. The host country, Cameroon, faced Burkina Faso. The tournament will be broadcast live by more than 160 countries to an audience exceeding 300 million.

Veron Mosengo-Omba, CAF’s General Secretary said, “Binance has been named the official sponsor for this year’s AFCON tournament. Binance, through this partnership with CAF and football will be able to connect with more of its users. CAF embraces blockchain technology, and the impact it has on African football’s future.
