Big Four Company EY Takes Wavespace Utility to the Metaverse – Metaverse Bitcoin News

EY, one of the “big four” accounting companies, is taking part of its software suite into the metaverse. Wavespace by EY, which allows customers to meet with personnel from different parts of the globe, now includes immersive experiences that allow customers to engage in virtual reality environments.

EY steps into the Creative Metaverse

EY, one the four largest accounting firms, has announced, Oct. 26, that metaverse capabilities will be integrated into EY Wavespace. It is a tool for collaboration between teams.

Company aims to increase engagement among employees, teams and customers using EY wavespace. The application will allow for immersive interaction between users and other people. EY wavespace users will be able to communicate with each other in different modes, such as in-person or virtual.

EY believes that adding these functionalities to their products is part and parcel of fulfilling the interests of many customers across all industries and sectors in the metaverse. Edwina Fitzmaurice was EY’s chief customer success officer.

The metaverse at this point is all about opportunity and creativity, so I’m excited for the EY team to create a roadmap for clients that can help them anticipate and change for the next frontier in human experience.

Additional Meta Developments

Already, the company entered the metaverse by establishing a lab in metaverse that offers consulting services to customers in areas like 3D design and web animation. It is part the company’s expansion strategy, and is branching from its established business model.

EY uses the knowledge for services such as artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, and digital twin robots. EY isn’t the only company to be interested in metaverse capabilities.

Microsoft announced on Oct. 25 that it was in the process of adapting part of its software stack to work with metaverse-constructed applications. Specifically, it’s making its cloud division capable of providing complementary data to improve the results of customers in industrial applications, including the design of products before mass production.
