PRICE RELEASE Last week Africa founded cryptocurrency exchange, Quidax, announced that its crypto markets had been listed on CoinMarketCap, the world’s most-referenced price-tracking website for crypto assets in the rapidly growing cryptocurrency ecosystem.
Quidax has become the first African-owned cryptocurrency exchange to list on CoinMarketCap. This is a significant milestone in crypto development in Africa.
Quidax sent an email to customers stating that Blockchain is about transparency and that Quidax wanted to add a bit more to that. The listing of Quidax at CoinMarketCap allows everyone to have reliable information and emphasizes the significance of Africa in the crypto community.
Speaking on the listing, Uzo Awili, Quidax co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) “This is a proud moment for us as it allows us to provide reliable information on our crypto markets to the millions of people that rely on Coinmarket’s data.”
Brandon Chez CoinMarketCap founded the site in May 2013, and is one among the top cryptocurrencies sources. CMC, as it is sometimes called, is frequently cited by CNBC and Bloomberg. This data can also be used by several governments, including the U.S.
Quidax, an African-founded cryptocurrency platform, makes it simple for anybody to purchase, store, transfer, or sell cryptocurrencies.
Quidax launched an easier-to-use crypto app in the App Store and Play Store.
In less than three years since its inception, the exchange has reached significant milestones. It now boasts transactions totalling over $3.2 trillion.
Quidax last month announcedIt would partner with AltSchool Africa. This partnership will sponsor 100 students to acquire tech skills, including product management and software engineering. Quidax will provide a paid internship for the top graduates.
