On the 16th of February 2022, CEO Michael Ein Chaybeh simulcasted a live AMA session to Youtube, and Twitch using MeiTalk’s multicast feature. According to the CEO, the Multi-Streaming feature allowed everyone to broadcast simultaneously.

Michael described in detail many of MeiTalk’s features. When asked about third-party software support, Michael stated that MeiTalk currently supports OBS studio. He also mentioned that MeiTalk doesn’t intend to penetrate the live streaming market, per se, it plans on supporting and bringing all the platforms together and connecting streamers and viewers, globally. When asked Michael explained that the platform wasn’t subscription-based. Michael explained that MeiTalk will oversee content supervision and provide reporting similar to other platforms. Michael explained the various ways viewers and streamers can get StreamCoin through MeiTalk. Streamers are able to get endorsed and earn money via NFT. StreamCoin can be earned by viewers who watch advertisements.
