NFT Trade Volume Jumped 23% Higher This Week Capturing Close to $1 Billion in Sales – Markets and Prices Bitcoin News

Sales of non-fungible tokens (NFT) have increased 23.56% in the past week. During the seven days, $945.2 Million was sold across 15 blockchains. NFT sales from Ethereum rose 29.16% over seven days. They sold $863.2million, or 91.32%, of $945.2 million. One particular NFT collection called Moonbirds has bolstered most of this week’s NFT sales volume.

Moonbirds’ Sales Fuels NFT Sales Growth This Week

Following last week’s slight uptick in NFT sales, which increased 3.35% and gathered $658.4 million in sales in seven days, this week’s NFT sales action improved a great deal. On Monday, April 25, cryptoslam.io’s seven day metrics indicate that there’s been $945.2 million in sales recorded. The overall sales derive from 15 different blockchains and while Ethereum sales were the most dominant, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) NFT sales jumped 39.95% and Fantom’s sales volumes jumped 31.05% this week.

The project that has helped NFT sales this week is Moonbirds, even though seven day Moonbirds statistics indicate the collection’s sales are down 40.58% from the week prior. This past week’s sales saw approximately $165,080,212 in Moonbirds sales among 1,309 buyers and 1,821 transactions. Moonbirds #2642 was one of the Moonbirds that sold. It sold for 350 ether (or more than $1million) at settlement time, 24 hours ago on Opensea. Two more Moonbirds were also sold in the same range, this week.

Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs today have a floor worth 139 ether (or $402K). The Moonbirds floor price is at 33.5 Ethereum, 14% less than the previous week. This report includes NFT market and crypto/fiat prices. They are based upon the current ethereum exchange rate (ETH), and settlement prices as of April 25, 2022.

Moonbirds #3994 sold for 305ether, or $902K. Moonbirds #45602 sold at 299ether for $885K. Moonbirds NFTs made up 11 of the top 25 NFTs that were sold in this week’s sales. Meanwhile, Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) has had a very good week, as the collection’s sales increased by 267.20% in seven days. MAYC sold approximately $104,446,603 to 787 customers in 1083 transactions. Bored Ape Yacht Club’s (BAYC), also saw a solid seven-day run of sales with an increase in 231.31% since last week.

BAYC made $74,259,000,000,390 from 163 buyers combined with 233 transactions. Murakamiflowers Seed and RTFKT MNLTH were some other notable NFT collections to see seven-day sales increases. BAKC saw an incredible 764.95% increase in weekly sales, resulting in just under $32 million of sales. BAYC is currently the highest priced floor price, at 139 Ethereum, followed closely by Proof Collective, with an 118.5 ether floor value.
