
This week’s non-fungible token (NFT), sales were disappointing as the average sales volume over the past seven days dropped by 13.75%. This week, Ronin saw the largest increase in sales as 45.875 customers increased Ronin-based NFTs sales by over 72%. The NFT collection that recorded the most sales volume over the last seven days was Clonex as the NFT collection’s sales saw a 94.05% rise.
NFT Sales for 7 Days Slide to 13.75%
After the week of March 20-26, 2022, Google Trends data shows the search term “NFT” slid from a score of 39 to this week’s score of 37. Since scoring a 100 on the week of January 16-22, 2022, the number of queries worldwide for the search term “NFT” dropped by 63%. NFT volume increased 34% last week and Azuki, the NFT collection, was the most-sold collection. Seven-day NFT statistics have shown a decline of 13.75% since Bitcoin.com News released the weekly NFT Sales Report.
The cryptoslam.io ranking and platform sales records provide metrics. Ethereum had the highest NFT sales with $570.2million. In the seven last days, $662.4 million was processed by all fifteen blockchain networks. More than 86% (or a majority) of NFTs last week were generated by the Ethereum blockchain. However, Ethereum-based non-fungible token sales dropped 12.55% lower than last week’s ETH-based NFT sales.
The blockchain network Ronin was the leader this week in terms of NFT sales capturing a 72% increase from last week’s numbers. Following Ronin’s NFT sales were the blockchain networks Panini up 25.47%, Cronos NFT sales increased by 24.13%, and Palm sales jumped by 22.70% this week. Tezos is down 53.3%, and Avalanche 36.35% in seven-day NFT sale terms.
This week’s top NFT collection in terms of sales is the Clonex NFT compilation which has increased by 94.05%. Clonex, which has 487 buyers, has sold $45,945,175 worth of NFT collections in the seven-day period. Clonex’s seven-day sales stats are followed by Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Arcade Land, and Moar respectively. BAYC had the third highest sales last week, but BAYC’s sales volume dropped 28.69%.
BAYC has the highest floor price of 109ether, but PROOF Collective still has an 82ether floor. This week’s top NFT sales were all from the BAYC Collection. Bored Ape Yacht Club 5,149 went for $797.7K (or 245 ether), Bored Ape 704 sold at $695.8K (215 ether), and Bored Ape 131 was purchased for $627.2K (or 180 ether) at settlement.
