Newegg has revealed that SHIB will soon be available on its platform. Newegg is an e-commerce site that focuses heavily on tech. Newegg is currently accepting cryptocurrencies through Bitpay. According to Adam Aron, CEO of AMC Theatres, the crypto payment provider will soon add SHIB support. He stated that his company would accept SHIB payments starting in the first quarter.
The Company Announces the Coming of SHIB to Newegg
Twitter: Friday’s announcement from Newegg, an e-commerce platform, that SHIB would soon be coming to Newegg.
Newegg Inc. is a leading online retailer specializing in tech products in North America. It has global presence in Europe, Asia Pacific (Latin America), Latin America and the Middle East. This platform sells computer parts, components for PCs and laptops as well as office supplies.
Newegg has not provided any further information on their SHIB announcement. Bitpay currently allows the exchange of cryptocurrency via Newegg. It is possible that the crypto payment service provider will add shiba-inu to its support cryptocurrencies list. This includes rival cryptocurrency, dogecoin.
Adam Aron (CEO of AMC Theatres) reported that Bitpay may be supporting SHIB. He tweeted on Nov. 15 that Bitpay has decided to support shiba inu crypto “specifically because I asked, so AMC can take shiba inu for online payments of movie tickets and concessions.”
AMC is the first Bitpay client which will accept Shiba Inu Crypto, and he expects that his company will begin accepting SHIB 60-120 Days after the announcement.
There has been an increase in the popularity of the meme crypto shiba inu. Gemini cryptocurrency exchange, added SHIB support in November. Shiba Inu supporters are petitioning Change.org to have Robinhood accept SHIB. So far, there have been 540K signatures. Robinhood has recently stated that they are not in any hurry to list SHIB and other cryptocurrency.
