
During the last year, there’s been a lot of discussion concerning bitcoin treasuries or public firms putting bitcoin on their balance sheets. Treasuries do not hold the sole crypto currency that is the most valued by the market. Ethereum has been a popular treasury asset because many companies hold it in their reserves.
Ethereum Treasuries have Grown
The bitcoin treasuries listing shows that exchange-traded funds and countries as well as public companies and private firms have 1,559,047 bitcoins (BTC), worth approximately $66 billion. While bitcoin is being stashed away by these entities, ethereum (ETH) is also held by funds and companies that believe in the crypto asset’s future. It was, for example. reportedOn Thursday, Three Arrows Capital’s fund manager purchased 31,345 Ethereum. The same day, Three Arrows Capital’s co-founder Su Zhu told Bloomberg he remains bullish about crypto investments.

On the web portal cryptotreasuries.org, data is available for 12 funds or companies that have ethereum. According to the data, these entities currently hold close to $700 millions worth of ether. Galaxy Digital Holdings holds the most ether, with cryptotreasuries.org stating that they hold 98.892 ether. Galaxy Digital Holdings therefore controls 46.45% the total 212,875 Ethereum across all 12 entities.
Ether Capital Corporation is the second-largest owner on this list, with 43512 ether. Ether Capital Corporation’s stash is 20.44% of the aggregate recorded on cryptotreasuries.org. Coinbase Global (31,787ether), Meitu (15,000ether), and Hive Blockchain (13,331ether are some other noteworthy holders. There’s also another ethereum treasuries list hosted on ethtreasuries.pory.app which has a number of different holders listed.
For instance, the web portal notes a lot of entities like M31 Capital, Gerber Kawasaki Investment Management, Arca Labs, Heat Capital, and FD7 Ventures with “undisclosed” ethereum amounts. This particular list of ether treasuries is not up to date and some of the sources are questionable, in comparison to the list hosted on cryptotreasuries.org. However, the list hosted on ethtreasuries.pory.app does mention firms like Three Arrows Capital and the Grayscale Ethereum Trust, both of which hold tens of thousands of ether.
